Welcoming Guests to Our Activities: In 2018, we are making a concerted effort to attract guests to Branch 8 activities. I’m asking each of you to identify and invite guests to our activities. Please work with your Activity Chairmen to provide guests with a great Branch 8 experience.

SIR is an activity-based social organization for senior men.  SIR Branch 8, with members from Walnut Creek and surrounding communities. provides opportunities to be mentally and physically active while developing friendships for life. We are rearranging and expanding some information under the new menu heading “Member information“. This is a work in progress by our Membership Secretary as he figures out the most effective way to arrange the data.  The branch member’s photo gallery has moved under that new menu item, but it is also available by going directly 

Unfortunately, one of our Luncheon Cashiers, Harry Shadeck has had to drop out of the position. Here’s a great way to meet the guys, put the names with the faces. This is a great opportunity to step up and fill a need. Training provided. If you can help, please call or e-mail our Treasurer, Dennis

On Monday 11th December we held a successful holiday Ladies Day Lunch for 279 Sirs and their beautifully dressed spouses.  The food, Christmas decorations and ambiance were excellent.  Many thanks to Round Hill Country Club, the local merchants, golf courses and Branch 8 Wine Finders who provided wonderful door prizes.  Many more thank yous to
