We ask for volunteer Starter/Marshall’s to take charge of setting up the foursomes and getting them out in a timely manner for a month. If you haven’t volunteered please contact the Chairman and get on the list as an alternate or replacement if needed. It is traditional for the Starter on the first outing of the month to supply donuts (or a suitable alternative..) to the crowd.
Every week we play a competition among ourselves such as closest to the hole on a designated hole or whatever challenge the Starter of the day designates.
We also have an annual championship tournament and dinner afterward at the end of October, with winners for low gross and low net scores as well as a team competition.
The group has also taken over the running of the annual Don Atwater Golf Tournament, full details of this great tournament held annually in the first week of June can be found on the DAI page here on the website.
We will post details of weekly play(see the play results page) and other areas of interest here on the website and in the Hotline as appropriate.
Come out and join us, we have a great bunch of guys playing and enjoying golf and having a drink and social get together afterward!
