Search for key-words using Adobe Acrobat Reader (hint: download the latest version FREE): Once you have downloaded a copy of Hotline and opened it in Acrobat Reader, you can quickly find an Activity or person’s name by using the search function (Ctrl-F or Ctrl-Shift-F on a PC) and typing the name you are looking for. On some browsers Ctrl-Shift-F gives the better search tool because it shows all the ‘hits’ on your search term. Sometimes a panel will be open to the left of the page, if so, clicking the top icon gives an image of each page with the page number. If you know the page you want (from the index on p1) you can go directly there by clicking the icon or thumbnail of that page. See images below for examples. Here’s what the search box will look like after pressing Ctrl-Shift-F (all at the same time). The page icon to show thumbnails is on the left side.
